[indications] Enfuweitai can be used in combination with other antiretroviral drugs to treat HIV-1 infected patients who still have HIV-1 replication after other antiretroviral drugs.

[usage and dosage] Enfuweitai for injection needs to be dissolved with sterile injection water before use, and then injected subcutaneously. If it can not be used immediately after dissolution, it must be stored in a refrigerator at 2-8 ℃ and used within 24 hours. Refrigerated solution must be heated to room temperature before injection (e.g. held in hand for 5 minutes), and check to make sure that the solution is completely dissolved without particles before injection.
The recommended dose for adult patients is 90mg twice a day. The main injection site is the subcutaneous tissue of upper arm, front of thigh or abdomen. The injection site should be different from the previous time, and there was no local injection reaction at that time.
Do not inject near the skin of the area with dense big nerve walk, such as elbow, knee, groin or middle and lower buttocks, and avoid abnormal skin, including blood vessel surface, nevus, scar tissue, bruise or navel. Further injection information can be found in the infviride injection guidelines.
Due to the lack of relevant data in children, it is not yet possible to give the recommended dose of enfluviride for children under 6 years old.
For patients aged 6 to 16 years, the recommended dosage of enfeviride is 2mg / kg each time, and the maximum dosage is 90mg each time, twice a day. As the same as the admitted injection, it is injected into the subcutaneous tissue of the upper arm, front of thigh or abdomen, and the injection site should be different from the previous one, and there is no local injection reaction at this site. Table 1 shows the guidelines for the administration of enflucetin based on body weight. Body weight should be tested regularly and the dosage of enflucetin should be adjusted accordingly.
