Peptide vaccines are divided into three categories:

\1. Antiviral peptide vaccines, including HBV, HIV, RSV, etc;

However, many traditional second-line anti-cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, may have high immunosuppression. Therefore, the immunogenicity and stability of peptide vaccine can be enhanced by the following methods. Antigenic peptides must be combined with appropriate adjuvants to promote their transmission to DC, activate APC and trigger T cell response. The binding affinity of 2-peptide with MHC molecules is the determinant of immune response. Therefore, amino acid residues can be replaced to improve the affinity with MHC. 3. Modify the spatial structure to simulate the conformation of natural epitopes. 4. DC peptide vaccine was used. 5. Chemically modified peptide segments increase stability.

Peptide vaccine overcomes many shortcomings of traditional vaccine, can be synthesized on a large scale, easy to purify, and is very safe in human application. If some compounds are linked on the short peptide to prepare the internal adjuvant, the immune effect can be greatly improved. \1. MHC - is a general term for all gene groups encoding the antigens of biocompatible complex, which means the genes that can be encoded into MHC gene family (MHC class I, class II, class III) into molecules, namely MHA. MHA is located on the cell surface. Its main function is to bind the peptide chain derived from pathogens, and show pathogens on the cell surface, so as to facilitate the recognition of T-cells and perform a series of immune functions (such as killing cells infected by pathogens, activating macrophages to kill bacteria in body cells, activating B cells to produce antibodies, etc.).

\2. Epitope, also known as antigenic determinant (AD), refers to a special chemical group in an antigen molecule that determines the specificity of an antigen. The antigen binds to the antigen receptor on the surface of the corresponding lymphocyte through the antigen epitope, thus activating the lymphocyte and causing the immune response

\3. CTL: cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) is a kind of specific T cell, which secretes various cytokines to participate in the immune function. It has killing effect on some virus, tumor cells and other antigen substances, and forms an important defense line of anti-virus and anti-tumor immunity with natural killer cells.

\4. DC is known to be the most powerful antigen presenting cell in the body. Through the uptake and presentation of tumor antigens, it can effectively induce and activate immune effector cells, thus mediating strong specific tumor immunity.
