Professor Vladimir harwinson, President of the European region of the International Association of Geriatrics, has proved that by changing peptides, organ function can be improved, thus slowing down the aging process, and thus the average life span of human beings can be prolonged.

He added: "all animals and humans have limits. The human limit is 110 to 120 years old."

After 30 years of academic research, the Russian scientist found that according to experiments on animals (usually rats, mice and flies), peptide regulation can "increase life expectancy by 30 to 40%".

"We looked at 17 organisms, including sheep, flies, mice, monkeys and humans, and we used exactly the same regulation, and we found that the function of any organ was improved," he added

The 70 year old scientist began his research in the Soviet Union when he was a military doctor in Leningrad.

"I was a military scientist at the time, and the goal was to find new drugs that could be used to promote organ use for military personnel," he said. "

Since then, harwinson has spent much of his career perfecting peptide regulation.

On 28 May, he hosted an international seminar on longevity in Geneva, which will be attended by a number of well-known experts in the field, who will discuss how to extend human life.

Harwinson thinks it's possible to extend human life by 40% in 40 or 50 years, but he says it could be even longer.

"At present, from the perspective of modern science, the maximum limit is 120 years old," he said. But 100 years from now, I don't know, maybe longer. "
